Train the Trainer
NVQ Learning & Development Level 3 & 4
This qualification is suitable for Trainers, Training Co-ordinators and Managers looking to enhance their skills and knowledge in learning and development. The NVQ enables the learner to participate in a work based programme of development which maps against competence within their current role. Assessment for this competence based qualification is predominantly through observation and discussion including detailed feedback from the assessor against the national standard.
The programme includes:
• Induction
• Initial Assessment
• Individual skills gap analysis
• Up to nine Coaching and Assessment visits over a maximum period of 12 months
• Ongoing progress review and monitoring
A1 – Assessors Award Level 3
The level 3 assessors award is aimed at managers and supervisors looking to assess staff against vocational qualifications. It is made up of 4 key elements from the Learning and Development NVQ. To achieve the A unit Award the Trainee Assessor will need to assess two learners within their work area and support them to achieve a relevant NVQ qualification.
Successful completion of the award gives learners the skills and knowledge in the effective delivery of the assessment process.
The programme includes:
• Induction

• Individual skills gap analysis
• Production of a bespoke personal development plan
• Up to ten Coaching and Assessment visits over a maximum period of 12 months
• Ongoing progress review and monitoring
